Some people rarely buy jewelry. What
might seem as common sense to some
of us might actually be a foreign
language to others. For those of you
who do not purchase jewelry often,
here are some things to consider that
you might not have considered:
Pendants\Slides:
Be careful to choose the right millimeter
omega necklace when putting a slide
on it. If you choose the wrong millimeter
omega, the slide may have a tendency
to look out of place or not lay right
on the omega.
The
above holds true for any chain when
putting a pendant on it. It is a common
rule to choose a chain that will compliment
the item being placed on it. That
is, do not put a small item on a large,
long chain or a large pendant on a
small short chain.
Rings:
When choosing a ring, choose a style
that compliments the finger or hand
it will be worn on. I have very short,
stubby fingers and short finger nails.
I would look silly in a chunky ring
style. Likewise, if someone has long,
big fingers, a thin or tiny ring would
not look appropriate on the finger.
We have selected a wide variety of
dolphin rings for all different scenarios.
Gold
vs. Silver:
Do not purchase gold for someone that
only wears silver or vice-versa. Some
gift givers want to give a sizable
or expensive gift. Gold jewelry gifts
are more expensive than silver jewelry
gifts. Remember, it is the thought
that counts. If your intended gift
recipient only wears silver, buy silver.
They will be happier no matter what
the value. If your gift recipient
only wears gold and you think you
cannot afford a gold jewelry item,
browse the different selections on
our site. We have many pieces in a
very affordable price range. If all
of the selections that interest you
are out of your price range, you might
want to choose a different gift all
together or save up and do a combination
gift. Sometimes birthdays, anniversaries,
Valentines Day and/or the Christmas
holiday season fall close together.
If you think your loved one would
be o.k. with this, get one big gift
instead of two smaller ones.
